I'm passionate about helping people make great software.
In my 25 years of coding and 12 years teaching development, I have never seen anything change my profession as fast as AI.
The practices that made software reliable did not stop mattering when agents started writing the code. They matter more, and they are now within reach of people who never planned to become developers.
The wall every vibe coder hits
Right now
- The first version appears in minutes. The fifth change breaks the first four.
- Something worked yesterday and you cannot get back to it.
- You have three half-finished projects and each stalled at the same point.
- It is live, three people use it, and you are scared to touch it.
- Someone asked if their data is safe and you did not have an answer.
- When it breaks you paste the error back in and hope. Sometimes that makes it worse.

Set up a workshop you can trust
A real project live on Cloudflare at a real domain, and Git you can undo anything with.
Tell the agent what done means
Specs, scope and acceptance criteria, so you get the thing you meant the first time.
Scripts that do real work
Automate something in your week, then put it on a schedule so it runs without you.
Databases, properly
Supabase schemas, queries and migrations you will not regret in six months.
Who can see what
Real auth, row level security, and secrets that never reach the browser. Break in, then fix it.
Ship it, watch it, fix it
Test before you deploy. Read the logs after. Fix the actual problem.
What you will walk out with
Independence from any one tool
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, whatever lands next - you swap them out without starting over, because you understand what is happening underneath instead of following one tool's happy path.
Ship a real application to Cloudflare, with a database behind it, that other people can use
Spec a feature clearly enough that an agent builds the right thing the first time
Use Git well enough that no experiment can ever cost you your work
Design a database schema you will not regret in six months
Wire up real auth and lock the database down so people can only ever see their own data
Debug a live problem from the logs instead of asking the agent to try again
Who this is for
A good fit if
There are two ways people arrive here.
- You came up through AI Level Up. You are comfortable working in Claude or ChatGPT, you have built your own skills, you are used to driving an agent rather than chatting with it, and you have done the entry-level workshop where you build and deploy a website.
- Or you are self-taught. You have vibe coded something real, you got it working, and you can feel the gaps you want to fill in.
Either way: you want to own the product decisions rather than hand them to the model, and you are comfortable being a beginner at something technical for six weeks.
Not a good fit if
- You have not used AI to make anything yet. Start with AI Level Up and the website workshop.
- You want to learn to write code by hand. That is a different course, and a good one, but not this.
- You are already a working developer, in which case Agentic Coding Essentials is your course.
What you need before week one
A paid AI subscription
Claude or ChatGPT. You will be working with an agent every week, and the free tiers will not carry you through a real build.
One website already deployed
If you have never put a site on the internet, start with the free workshop: build a website and deploy it to Netlify. That is the floor this course builds from.
Something you want to build
You will work on your own project all six weeks. It does not need to be a good idea yet, it just needs to be yours.

When does it start?
The first cohort starts mid October, with enrolments opening at the beginning of the month. Waitlist members get the exact dates, the full outline, and the launch price before anyone else.
Self-paced or live?
Both. There is a self-paced option you work through on your own schedule, and a live option with calls where we work through the material together and you can bring your own project. Same curriculum either way - the live calls add the accountability and the chance to ask about your specific build.
Do I need to have done AI Level Up?
Not formally, but you need its starting point: you have used AI to build something real, deployed a simple site, or worked through a project with Claude or ChatGPT. If none of that is true yet, start there.
Will this make me a developer?
No, and that is deliberate. You will not be writing code by hand. You will learn the practices that make software trustworthy, and use agents to do the typing.
How much time will it take?
Plan for a few hours a week across six weeks, built around a project of your own. Self-paced means you can stretch that out; the live cohort keeps you moving. You get more out of it the more you build.
Why Cloudflare and Supabase?
Because they let you go from nothing to deployed software with a real database quickly, cheaply, and without a pile of setup. The practices you learn transfer anywhere.
Is the curriculum final?
The six week shape is settled. The detail inside each week is still being written and lands before enrolments open, which is another reason to be on the waitlist.
